Story

Melbourne born and based, Lee Holdsworth enters his 13th season in the Supercars Championship in 2018 and third with Charlie Schwerkolt’s standalone, single-car Holden outfit. After missing three events in 2016 due to injuries sustained in his mammoth Hidden Valley accident, Holdsworth took eight top 10 finishes last year on his way to 16th in the championship. Holdsworth's career began when he was seven, racing karts before progressing into a highly successful car racing career. Married to Alana with a 5 year old daughter Ava & 1 year old son Riley, Holdsworth is as popular with the other drivers as he is with fans. Lee’s interests include Rugby Union, golf, swimming & cycling.

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service is the official charity of the 2018 Coates Hire Newcastle 500.
